My name is Joanne Kench and I am the mother of one son who attends a small and very special Rudolf Steiner school in Auckland, New Zealand. And it is through my connection with the school that Blue Earth Handcrafts has become accessible to all of you. I first came to NZ with my family in the early 90's. I was brought up on a farm in the SE of England, where my parents had a strong desire to use traditional farming methods that did not harm the earth. I am now a practising Naturopath and Registered Medical Herbalist. I have a dream to change the world by healing the heart of the earth using the head intellect, outwards to the hands, and then feeling in the heart the fulfilment of creation. I want to achieve this, one step at a time, one child, then another and another,creating for themselves their own crafted toys they will treasure forever.
